Midweek Meal Plan of our Under $5 Meals

Monday: Boring Spaghetti for meatless Monday
Tuesday: Orange – Ginger -Maple Chicken with Quinoa & Steamed Snow Peas
Wednesday: Roast Chicken, left over quinoa and whatever vegetable the kids want
Thursday: Toying with making a big pot of chili & a mess of cornbread
Friday: Pizza night, thinking of trying Grilled Pizza from Heather over @SweepSewStir
Saturday: Chili & Cornbread
Sunday: Sweet Eggs, biscuits and chai tea

My chili recipe is nothing special though I typically make it with no beans.  I load it with tons of veggies though.  My best chili is when the kids are away so I can make it just below inedible spicy.

Lunch this week will be leftovers of Quinoa, and PB & J for Mr P.

Now I’ll have to start trying to figure out what to eat/cook when all my dishes and pots & pans are packed up.  I’m not to fond of microwave cooking.  Something about it alters the texture and taste of food.  I guess paper and plastic for dishes?  I hate the idea of that too!

Any thoughts or suggestions?
